About David
David Schott is a graphic designer known for his clean, clear style that effectively communicates ideas rather than overwhelm the senses.
After receiving his BFA with Honors in Graphic Design from the State University of New York at Oswego, David returned to his hometown of Rochester, New York, to design and edit news publications.
In 2016 David moved with his wife, Jordan, to Seattle, Washington, where he improved the lives and working conditions of nearly 10 million people by giving visual form to the Intercommunity Peace and Justice Center's media. David and his team challenged modern slavery, homelessness, housing inequality, gun violence, and many other pressing issues.
From 2018 to 2021 David lived in London, UK, taking the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and beyond. He's been to over 30 countries and counting.
David is highly involved in environmental sustainability, social justice, outdoor recreation, and community-building activities. He's summited all 46 High Peaks in the Adirondack Mountains (ADK), and grew an ADK Young Members group into a thriving model of millenial-led environmentally sustainable recreation.
He's also an avid skier, cyclist and sea kayaker who loves stormy conditions and big waves.
