The Jewish Ledger is a weekly newspaper serving Rochester, New York’s Jewish Community. It delivers the Jewish perspective on contemporary issues with a vibrancy that reflects the lives and Jewish involvement of its more than 12,000 readers.

Working with the editor, publisher, salespeople and overseeing a second designer, I laid-out pages, designed adverts and created B2B promos in Indesign. I wrote procedure, style and proofreading guides plus maintained the asset library.

I retouched images in Photoshop by adjusting color, brightness, contrast, curves, gamma and sharpness to compensate for bleed and tonal change on newsprint.
